The Reflexologist

John Guinta LMT ........... MA69357

I had been interested in pursuing a career in bodywork for many years, but it was while hiking the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine in 2010, that I decided to pursue my study in reflexology. On that 2,100+ mile backpacking trip I became intimately familiar with my feet. On that 6 month backpacking trip I learned the value of self care, and came to understand the benefits of foot massage. When I returned home, I enrolled in the Academy of Ancient Reflexology in St. Augustine, FL. I completed the 315 hour Therapeutic Hand and Foot Reflexology Professional Certification Program in 2011. The following year I went on to attend and complete a 750 hour course for Massage Therapy at the Arlington School of Massage in Jacksonville, FL.

Prior to my study in bodywork, I spent twenty years as an air traffic controller in the military and in the federal service. I understand how stress can manifest itself as physical and emotional maladies. It is my hope that you will allow me to offer you a chance to experience reflexology from a certified reflexologist, so that you too may appreciate the benefits of this ancient form of bodywork.
